Job Description:

Title: Business Analyst - Cyber Security - Financial Services

Location: Remote (within the UK, with possible travel within the UK)

Salary: Up to £500 per day (inside IR35)

Contract: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Lead analysis across technical and business change projects, focusing on cyber security.
• Manage end-to-end requirements gathering and support solution implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs, analyze data, and propose solutions.
• Map current and future business processes and contribute to support and operating models.
• Support test planning, UAT, impact assessments, and training/communication strategies.
• Provide progress updates and support risk and issue management.

Experience required:

• Recent experience in financial services/banking industry.
• Proven track record in impactful business analysis in IT projects.
• Strong exposure to IT Security, ideally within cyber programmes.
• Expertise in requirements elicitation, process mapping, impact assessments, stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
• Effective communicator, able to simplify technical topics.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, collaborative approach.
• Experience facilitating workshops and team contribution.

Nice to Have (but not essential):

• Experience with Cyber Security Programmes, especially security keys and certificates.
• Business Analysis certifications (e.g., BCS, IIBA).
• Technical or IT educational background.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
