People are our greatest asset, and we offer a competitive package to retain and attract the best talent.

In addition to the benefits you'd expect, UK employees also receive free single medical cover and digital GP service, family-friendly benefits such as enhanced parental leave pay and free membership of employee assistance and parental programs, plus reimbursement towards relevant professional development and memberships. We also give back to our communities through our Collectively program which incorporates matched-funding, paid volunteering time and charitable donations.

Work-life balance and flexibility are key focus areas for us. We're happy to discuss hybrid, part-time and flexible working hours, patterns and locations to suit you and our business.

The Role:

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the delivery of high-impact, innovative digital solutions across Energy, Defence and Infrastructure. This is a key role within the Digital Delivery Team, contributing to some of the UK's most critical infrastructure initiatives.

You will be reporting directly to the Programme Manager and be supported by the Project Managers to drive insight, process optimisation and momentum across a complex and evolving delivery landscape. Your responsibilities include conducting business analysis activities such as leading workshops, gathering and documenting business requirements, and mapping current and future state processes. You will translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications, working closely with stakeholders, vendors, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet expectations.

This role is suited for someone who can bring structured problem-solving to complex issues and is confident in identifying opportunities for improvement in existing ways of working.

  1. Relevant experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within complex digital programmes.
  2. Strong experience in business process modelling (e.g., BPMN, UML) and process re-engineering.
  3. Proficiency in stakeholder engagement and management across varied organisational levels.
  4. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, translating business needs into technical requirements.
  5. Skilled in using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent for process visualisation.
  6. Ability to operate autonomously in a distributed, digital-first team.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Proven experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria in agile environments.
  9. Demonstrable experience conducting workshops and facilitating stakeholder discussions.
  10. Strong experience with business process modelling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML).
  11. Experience using tools like DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.

Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met, including obtaining BPSS clearance and either SC or DV clearance. The security clearance process may involve additional evaluation for non-British or dual nationals.
