Business Analyst with strong Derivatives Knowledge, within Energy or Commodities Trading is needed for a commodities & energy trading firm, covering both physicals & derivative trading. With their continued growth and onboarding new products, inline with new regulatory changes, they need a Business Analyst with strong Front office, Derivatives knowledge to work on the full Project lifecycle covering business requirements analysis, functional specification of changes, testing as required and support of UAT.
This is a Business / Front Office facing Business Analyst role, so excellent communication skills are required working with all levels of seniority. As a Business Analyst on the Derivatives project, your primary objective is to facilitate the design and implementation of a comprehensive system that consolidates trade lifecycle events, delivering near real-time exposure and position data across multiple commodities.
?This role can pay up to £750/Day Outside IR35
?2-3 days per week in the office

As a Front Office Business Analyst with strong Derivatives knowledge, your role will be to work closely with the stakeholders across a number of Front office desks (LNG, Carbon, Gas & power etc..) to define and document the scope and design of the platform. Managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations to ensure project deliverables align with strategic goals. Leading workshops to gather requirements, understand trade lifecycle events, and align expectations with business needs.
As a front office Business analyst with strong derivatives knowledge, you will work closely with IT, translating business requirements into tech, working closely with Application Support Analysts, Developers, UAT team and Architects.
