We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Data expertise to join a leading Asset & Investment Management organisation on a large-scale multi-year Data Transformation Programme. This initiative is focused on reinventing and modernising the firm’s data platform and wider data estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, gathering, analysing and translating business requirements into actionable data solutions.
• Support the design, development, and implementation of a next- data platform.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and document detailed data and process requirements.
• Perform data mapping across systems and business processes to ensure accurate integration and alignment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across investment, operations, risk, compliance, and technology.
• Work within an Agile environment to support project delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and lineage requirements are fully captured and addressed.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven track record as a Business Analyst in Asset & Investment Management (buy-side experience essential).
• Strong experience working on Data-focused programmes (Data Platforms, Data Warehousing, Data Governance, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with data mapping, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Ability to capture and analyse complex data requirements across financial instruments, benchmarks, and reference data.
• Experience with data operating models and data integration across systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence across front, middle, and back office.
• Agile / Scrum delivery experience.
