Business Analyst - Commercial Initiatives

Duration: 6 months (initial)

IR35 status: Inside IR35

Location: East London (Hybrid 2-3 days a week on site)

Our client is seeking experienced and highly motivated Business Analysts to join their dynamic team and play a key role in the development and launch of innovative mails products, as part of the expansion of their Pick-Up Drop-Off (PUDO) offering.

These are pivotal roles that directly support the growth of the client's commercial proposition, contributing to revenue growth and the delivery of their annual business plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and document product specifications and customer journeys.
  • Conduct business process mapping to support operational readiness, including carrier SLAs and end-to-end flows.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify technical solution options and capture high-level business and functional requirements to support proof of concept and pilot phases.
  • Contribute to high-level architectural design discussions for longer-term strategic solutions.
  • Support operational planning and readiness activities for pilot launches.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, product, and operations to ensure business needs are fully captured and translated into deliverable outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a product-led or commercial environment.
  • A commercial background or experience working on revenue-generating projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in traditional BA practices:
    • Requirements elicitation
    • Process mapping
    • Writing test scripts/user stories
    • Stakeholder engagement and management
    • Work independently while collaborating effectively within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team.
    • Comfortable working without a defined tech stack - more business-focused than deeply technical.
    • Experience in mails, parcels, logistics, or similar sectors is a plus.
