Business Analyst - Card Payments

This role is a twelve-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension for another twelve months.

About the Business Analyst role

We are seeking a Business Analyst with extensive experience in delivering card payments projects to join our growing team in London. You will play a key role in delivering strategic transformation projects, improving processes and services on our processing platform.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define customer objectives, and ensure the successful delivery of these projects.

Responsibilities
  1. Gather and analyse customer outcomes and how they will be supported through improved processes and services.
  2. Manage customer impact assessments with input from cross-functional teams to ensure a clear path for each customer.
  3. Utilise your experience with customer transitions/migrations to ensure smooth transitions, with all changes clearly defined and communicated.
  4. Collaborate with teams including account management, product development, engineering, and operations to ensure alignment and consistent customer management.
  5. Document business requirements for any gaps identified during impact assessments and coordinate with the product team and engineering.
  6. Support the creation of customer transition plans and schedules.
  7. Work closely with remote teams to facilitate communication and ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with card transformation or migration projects.
  • Strong communication skills with customers.
  • Ability to support teams with clear, understandable information to manage customer experience.
  • Process and data mapping experience.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with remote teams.
