About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will work at the heart of a data-driven transformation, helping the business make smarter, faster decisions through meaningful insight. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, interpret asset-driven data, and deliver Business Intelligence solutions that add real value.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complexity into clarity - someone with a passion for data, strong analytical skills, and the confidence to communicate insights to a wide range of audiences.

As a Business Analyst, you will:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise BI and reporting requirements
• Act as the bridge between business teams and BI developers to ensure solutions align with business needs
• Interpret complex asset data to support operations and strategic decision-making
• Create clear, contextual visualisations and reports using BI tools
• Identify process improvement opportunities through data insights
• Ensure the use of consistent business terminology and trusted data sources
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a data or asset-heavy environment
• Demonstrable experience delivering solutions in Business Intelligence projects
• Experience working with and interpreting asset data
• A strong understanding of data quality and experience standardising complex data sets
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to present data-driven insights and visualisations in a way that makes sense to business users
