Searchability in Manchester is seeking a Business Analyst / Business Change Manager to join an expanding analysis community at the intersection of software development, data science and operational delivery.

You will bridge technical teams and secure government customers, lead requirements management, acceptance testing, and end-to-end business change to ensure mission-critical outcomes are realized. This role requires active eDV clearance and hands-on change management within agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record operating as a Business Analyst, Business Change Manager, or User-Centred Design specialist in secure environments.
• Deep experience capturing, documenting, and managing functional and non-functional requirements for software or data projects.
• Hands‑on background applying structured change management frameworks to support agile and iterative delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for operational end-users.
• Practical knowledge of acceptance testing, benefits realization, and risk management practices.

Responsabilités

• Acting as the core bridge between technical software/data science teams and end customers to collect, manage, and refine requirements.
• Eliciting functional and non-functional requirements, translating them into product roadmaps, epics, user stories, and prioritised backlogs.
• Developing and executing business change plans to adapt processes, system structures, and ways of working for iterative/agile deployment.
• Tailoring stakeholder communications and implementing structured change management practices to ensure long-term adoption.
• Leading acceptance testing processes and benefits management frameworks to confirm intended outcomes and operational readiness.
• Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating project risks while assessing options for financial, technical, and business feasibility.
