Job Requirements:
- Define business/system requirements by facilitating user meetings, interviewing users, developing use cases, and researching and resolving issues.
- Participate in business analysis project planning and management by documenting and maintaining plans, managing issue logs, and preparing project documentation.
- Analyze current processes and recommend solutions and improvements.
- Oversee the acquisition, analysis, and dissemination of subject matter knowledge as needed.
- Provide technical and business knowledge to users and team members.
- Stay updated on technological and competitive developments.
- Experience in analysis and testing phases of the development cycle.
- Minimum 2+ years of technical business analysis experience in banks or financial institutions.
- Confidence in engaging with business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong analysis skills; proficiency with Excel, Python, and SQL.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies/principles is a plus.
- Comfortable using Python (including Numpy/Pandas) for data analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis using SQL and Python for future feature requests.
- Support daily application-related issues and queries from users.
- Document use cases and stories based on user requirements.
- Knowledge of Securities Financing is a plus.
- Participate in daily meetings with development and testing teams in global offshore centers.
- Provide feedback to developers and QA teams as needed.
- Interact with internal/external teams and business users on various project topics.
- Manage daily prioritization of development and QA work.
Candidate Background:
Experience in business/system analysis within a bank or financial institution is essential, with some knowledge of Securities Lending being advantageous. The candidate should be eager to develop both business and technical skills.
