Overview

We’re looking for a curious, collaborative and forward-thinking Apprentice Business Analyst to help us shape smarter services for our customers. You’ll work with passionate teams, senior leaders, and external partners to turn ideas into real-world solutions that make a difference. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to grow, influence change, and bring fresh thinking to how we deliver services.

What you’ll be learning to do
  • Listening to users and turning their ideas into practical solutions
  • Writing impact assessments and making recommendations that balance innovation and risk
  • Supporting the creation of project mandates and business cases
  • Mapping out business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements for new systems and enhancements
  • Collaborating with IT teams and subject matter experts to design solutions
  • Leading workshops, interviews and user testing to ensure solutions meet real needs
  • Helping embed changes and support teams post-implementation
  • Using tools and techniques to model processes and manage change effectively
  • Championing inclusive, customer-focused service design
Qualifications and requirements
  • GCSEs (Maths and English Language) at grade 4–9 or A–C
  • One of the following: two A Levels A–C (one in a STEM subject), or a BTEC National Certificate Level 3 in a relevant subject (merit or distinction)
