Build a brilliant future with Hiscox
The Hiscox UK Change Team is the bridge between the business and the technology teams, ensuring that technology change is prioritised, defined, broken down and delivered in a way that enables the business to achieve its strategic goals, whilst also enabling the technology strategy. This means understanding the end-to-end context of the change, and having a laser-focus on value so that we can ensure both that we're doing the right things, and doing the things right. As such, we are looking for exemplary collaborators; people who thrive on building relationships, who aren't afraid to challenge how things are done, and are capable of driving consensus and guiding people through every stage of the change journey, from idea to reality.
The Business Analysis team are spread across the Colchester and York office, a passionate team committed to continually improving the Business Analysis capability at Hiscox UK.
You'll be an experienced Business Analyst who is business savvy and collaborative, someone who enjoys working with Business Sponsors, Project Managers, Product Owners, Architects, Technical BA & Engineers and other required stakeholders to plan and execute analysis activities to deliver valuable outcomes for the business.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of project and value stream outcomes on our UK Change portfolio, giving you broad exposure to how the UK business operates, from the front line through to the back office functions and the technology that supports our ability to deliver superb service to our customers.
Our projects can be driven by process improvement, integration of new technologies and solutions or delivery of regulatory requirements. The outputs of the projects can vary from large scale system delivery and upgrades to smaller, tactical solutions that open up business opportunities.
When not working from home, the role can be based in either York or Colchester.
At Hiscox we care about our people. We hire the best people for the job and we're committed to diversity and creating a truly inclusive culture, which we believe drives success.
Working life doesn't always have to be in the office, so we have introduced hybrid working to encourage a healthy work life balance. This hybrid working model is set by the team rather than the business to enable you to manage your own personal work-life balance.
We see it as the best of both worlds; structure and sociability on one hand, and independence and flexibility on the other.
Our benefits package includes a bonus, contributory pension, 25 days annual leave plus 2 Hiscox days and a 4 week paid sabbatical with every 5 years' worth of service, private medical for all the family and much more.
