Job summary

VIQU Limited partners with a public-sector organisation in the Midlands to deliver a large Records Management System transformation. The role is a Business Analyst with NPPV3/SC clearance, on a contract basis, outside IR35, hybrid working.

You will map AS‑IS processes, design TO‑BE models, gather and validate requirements, support UAT, and produce high‑quality documentation, ensuring governance and compliance throughout the programme.

Qualifications

• Experience mapping AS-IS and TO-BE processes using BPMN.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation and gap analysis.
• Hands-on experience configuring enterprise systems or RMS modules.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

Business Analyst – NPPV 3 Cleared – Contract – Outside IR35 – Hybrid – Midlands

VIQU has partnered with a well‑established public‑sector organisation in the Midlands, which is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of a large‑scale Records Management System (RMS) transformation programme.

Role Responsibilities

• Analyse and document current‑state (AS‑IS) business processes, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Design and document future‑state (TO‑BE) processes, workflows, and operating models.
• Gather, validate, and manage business, functional, and non‑functional requirements.
• Support the configuration of Niche RMS modules, workflows, forms, business rules, and security settings.
• Develop and execute UAT scenarios to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Produce high‑quality documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams and stakeholders.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with strong process mapping and process improvement skills.
• Experience producing AS‑IS and TO‑BE process models using recognised methodologies such as BPMN.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and gap analysis expertise.
• Hands‑on experience configuring Niche RMS or similar enterprise applications.
• Understanding of workflows, integrations, data structures, and migration activities.
• Experience supporting testing, UAT, and quality assurance activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of regulated environments, governance, compliance, and information management practices.

Contract Details

• Role: Business Analyst
• Rate: £400 – £500 per day
• IR35: Outside IR35
• Duration: Running till February 2027
• Location: Hybrid – Onsite 3-4 days per month
• Security: NPPV3 & SC clearance required or ability to obtain
