Business Analyst | Financial Services | CRM | Cloud | Process Improvement

Central Scotland – Hybrid | Up to £55k + Benefits

Provn are supporting a long-standing financial services client based in Central Scotland as they look to appoint a Business Analyst to join their change and transformation function. This is a key role supporting a wide range of technology and business improvement initiatives across the organisation.

As part of a broader modernisation programme, the Business Analyst will help shape the way systems and processes evolve to meet future demands, with projects spanning CRM implementation, cloud migration, and operational efficiency.

The Role:

Working closely with stakeholders across both business and IT functions, you’ll support the discovery, analysis, and delivery of initiatives that are critical to the organisation’s transformation roadmap.

  • Leading discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops across business units
  • Capturing, validating, and documenting business and functional requirements
  • Mapping current and future state processes, highlighting opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting delivery teams by translating business needs into clear, actionable outputs
  • Assisting in project planning and ensuring solutions are aligned with regulatory and operational goals
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned reviews

Your Experience:

We’re looking for a confident communicator with strong analytical skills and a practical understanding of change delivery in financial services environments.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a regulated environment—financial services preferred
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in process mapping and identifying business improvements
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, cloud transformation or service improvement projects is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of business analysis tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, Confluence)
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum or Waterfall methodologies
  • An understanding of the regulatory landscape in financial services (e.g. FCA guidelines) is a plus
