Role overview: As a Business Analyst you'll have the ability to help clients deliver their business strategy through process improvements and selected use of state-of-the-art intelligent automation tools. The role requires innovative thinking to deliver process improvements for clients, making use of multiple tools to deliver and embed real change. This would require an ability to work with clients to identify their core problems and to address these using the right tool / method for the job. This will use some of the most exciting automated tools on the market as well as the tried and tested methodologies (such as Lean Six Sigma) to deliver real process change.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating new and potentially disruptive approaches to performing business activities. Investigating operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking cost-effective, sustainable business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes
  • Collaborating with clients on the implementation of optimisation projects, acting as catalyst for sustainable cost-effective change as well as helping clients to shape the scope, approach and structure of Business Optimisation projects
  • Identifying discrete opportunities to reduce cost, ensure quality, improve efficiency, enhance the client service and improve the work / life balance of the team
  • Providing implementation support to assess organisational capabilities and to identify, prioritise and implement improvements in turn also developing tailored change management plans
  • Engage with key stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables
  • Analyse business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making

About you:

  • You have completed a Bachelor's degree (2.1 or higher) in Business, Economics, Management or a related field
  • Previous experience as a management consultant either within an internal FTSE250 change team, top tier or highly regarded boutique consultancy and demonstrate experience in predictive (plan-driven) and adaptive (iterative/agile) delivery approaches
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to present and deliver outcomes which are compelling, accurate, and engaging both to clients and in support of our business development and work-winning activities
  • Present an entrepreneurial flair including involvement in sales and business development while demonstrating the ability to network and connect with potential business
  • Gather requirements for solutions facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders of all levels within FTSE100 organisations from operational staff to C-suite
