Loan Pledging application is a digital workforce of software technology that can execute any business process aimed to capture and interpret existing loan data for processing, manipulating data, refinance, and communicating with other bank services.LPA is a young and fast-growing project that started in 2020. It consists of several web services and a scalable plugin-based frontend application. We aggregate data from different sources and automate its processing. All developers have a wide range of backend and frontend tasks, work on the infrastructure and CI, integrate with other systems, do research, and create proofs-of-concept. We are moving to the microservices and micro-frontend architecture with independent releases of different components. We practice Scrum and clean coding practices, 30% of our sprint capacity is spent on technical improvements.The Loan Pledging Application team is responsible to design, build and service a platform that supports Loans Pledging automation globally by working with the operations team and understanding the requirements from various Central Banks (i.e. Federal Reserve Bank, Banco de España, Deutsche Bundesbank, etc.). Automation needs are met by understanding workflows and monitoring requirements as well as getting feeds directly into the systems replacing manual activities and providing as much straight through processing (STP) as possible.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business leaders and ITConsult with users (loan operations) and clients (internal businesses) to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutionsSupport system change processes from requirements through implementation in a timely manner and provide input based on analysis of informationConsult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provides user and operational supportDefine and execute functional test cases, assist and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)Develop user interface mockups and define associated mappings between front-end and back-end objectsDefine mappings of incoming data sources to the back-end and functional logic required for data transformation/processingIdentify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environmentAct as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assignedHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Attendance at early AM or late PM calls with global colleagues expected from time to time.

SKILLS

Must have

• 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a Technical Business Analyst or similar capacity.
