Description
This position serves as a critical liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the voice of the user is embedded throughout the product lifecycle. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to refine feature sets, align business goals, and translate user needs into clear, actionable deliverables for development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of business cases and oversee benefit realization through the full product lifecycle
- Contribute to the enhancement of business processes and IT systems, including the drafting of RFPs and supporting documents for system improvements and new initiatives
- Evaluate proposed solutions for long-term sustainability and alignment with system capabilities, promoting configuration over customisation where feasible
- Provide insight to ensure optimal utilisation of existing platforms and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies
- Act as a key point of contact for the analysis function, communicating risks, blockers, or changes to relevant product owners or lead analysts
- Support end-to-end analysis efforts across product development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and stakeholder alignment
Experience required:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field
- 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst working in a legal or professional services environment
- Qualifications such as BCS/ISEB diploma, IIBA certification are preferred
- Agile/Scrum experience desired. Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Professional preferred
- Extensive experience reviewing and examining business processes and systems, modeling and analysing data, organising activities and developing business strategies
- Experience of working as lead analyst on multiple projects in a small team
