Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major UK Government digital programme, Making Tax Digital. You will gather and analyse requirements, support system and high-level design, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate needs into effective IT solutions.

The role demands strong analysis, data modelling capabilities and excellent stakeholder communication within a hybrid working setup (Telford: 2–3 days onsite per week).

Qualifications

• Strong Business Analysis and Requirements & Systems Analysis experience.
• Experience in large-scale or multi-project environments.
• Data capture, data analysis and data modelling experience.
• Understanding of systems development lifecycles.
• RUP experience desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Windows.

Business Analyst

Telford / Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite per week
380 per day Inside IR35
4-month initial contract

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major UK Government digital programme focused on Making Tax Digital (MTD) and the transformation of tax services.

You'll work across a complex digital environment, gathering and analysing requirements, supporting system and high-level design, and working closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate customer needs into effective IT solutions.

Key skills and experience:

• Strong Business Analysis and Requirements & Systems Analysis experience
• Experience working in large-scale or multi-project environments
• Data capture, data analysis and data modelling experience
• Strong understanding of systems development lifecycles
• Experience with RUP desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
