Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a 4-month contract in Shrewsbury, UK, with hybrid working and an indicative £380 per day rate Inside IR35. The role focuses on making Tax Digital (MTD) and digital transformation within a government programme.

You'll gather and analyse requirements, support system and high-level design, and work closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate needs into IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive business analysis and requirements & systems analysis experience.
• Experience in large-scale or multi-project environments.
• Data capture, data analysis and data modelling experience.
• Strong understanding of systems development lifecycles.
• RUP experience desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Business Analyst

Telford / Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite per week

£380 per day Inside IR35

4-month initial contract

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major UK Government digital programme focused on Making Tax Digital (MTD) and the transformation of tax services.

You'll work across a complex digital environment, gathering and analysing requirements, supporting system and high-level design, and working closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate customer needs into effective IT solutions.

Key skills and experience:

• Strong Business Analysis and Requirements & Systems Analysis experience
• Experience working in large-scale or multi-project environments
• Data capture, data analysis and data modelling experience
• Strong understanding of systems development lifecycles
• Experience with RUP desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
