Job summary

Understanding Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst for a transformation programme in West London, focusing on post-production and Media Asset Management. You will map processes, capture requirements through workshops, and collaborate with product managers, architects and engineers on proofs of concept and pilots.

The role requires strong BA experience in media, knowledge of MAM, and a solid grasp of agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Analysis experience within media, broadcast, production or post-production.
• Understanding of Media Asset Management (MAM)
• Knowledge of post-production workflows including video/audio transfer, transcoding, delivery and archiving
• Strong business process mapping and analysis experience
• Requirements gathering through workshops and stakeholder interviews
• Experience producing functional and non-functional requirements
• User stories, acceptance criteria and backlog prioritisation
• Strong stakeholder management across business and technology teams
• Good understanding of Agile delivery
• Exposure to cloud technology or AI solutions would be beneficial

Contract Length: Initial 4 months – potential to extend

Location: West London – Hybrid, 1-2 days onsite per week

Day Rate: £500 Outside IR35

Are you looking for a new contract in the UK Media space?

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major media organisation on a transformation programme focused on the future of post-production and Media Asset Management. The programme is exploring how new technologies, including cloud-based workflows and AI tooling, can improve the way media is created, managed, transferred, archived and delivered.

You will work across technology, production and operational teams to understand the current landscape, identify pain points and opportunities, define requirements and help shape proofs of concept, future solutions and target operating models.
