Job summary

Arrows is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a four-month post production transformation project in London, with hybrid working and a £500 daily rate Inside IR35.

You will map current workflows, identify pain points, define and prioritise requirements, write acceptance criteria, manage backlogs with the Product Manager, and collaborate with architects, engineers and production specialists to outline the target operating model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Business Analysis experience in a BA, product or delivery role.
• Direct experience in a media production or post production environment is essential.
• Knowledge of MAM, post production workflows, transcoding, media transfer, delivery and archiving.

Responsibilities

• Leading user-focused analysis of current post production and media asset workflows, identifying pain points and opportunities.
• Documenting findings through BA deliverables: business process models, stakeholder matrices, data flow diagrams.
• Defining and prioritising functional and non-functional requirements.

Business Analyst - Media Post Production - 4 month Contract - Hybrid (London) - £500 Inside IR35

The Role

A well-known media business is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a post production transformation programme on a day rate contract basis. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the post production and media asset management world well - and can walk in on day one, ask the right questions and start delivering without needing to be shown the ropes.

The programme is exploring how cloud-based workflows and AI tooling can modernise the way media is managed and post production is delivered. Your job is to help define what that future looks like - through rigorous analysis of current processes, tooling and commercial landscape, and by translating that into clear, investable direction.

What you'll be doing

What you'll need

• Solid Business Analysis experience - at least 3 years in a BA, product or delivery role


• Direct experience working in a media production or post production environment - this is essential


• Strong working knowledge of MAM, post production workflows, transcode, video and audio transfer, delivery and archiving


• Familiarity with cloud-based media solutions and workflows


• Strong process analysis skills with the ability to turn complex, ambiguous landscapes into clear, structured requirements


• Proficient in writing testable user stories in Gherkin syntax and applying prioritisation frameworks such as MoSCoW, RICE or WSJF


• Comfortable working in agile environments


• Strong written and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences


• Experience with AI solutions and integrating them into an existing tech stack


• Proven ability to build effective cross-functional working relationships


• Financial analysis and modelling experience

This is a role for someone who is genuinely self-sufficient in the post production space - the team will set the direction, but you'll be expected to take it from there independently.
