Business Analyst – Entitlements & Tax Processing

Employment Type: Contract

Location: London (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a major global Entitlements and Tax Processing transformation programme. The initiative is focused on implementing enterprise platforms (IMActions, BaNCS, Xceptor) to deliver scalable, automated solutions for corporate actions, tax, and client data change.

This role will primarily focus on strategic client data and tax change initiatives, working closely with business and technology teams to define requirements, shape solutions, and support delivery across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Work with design and technology teams to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Support build, testing (system, SIT, UAT), and implementation phases.
  • Conduct data analysis and data mapping for system integration.
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure successful delivery and operational readiness.
  • Provide BA leadership and guidance, ensuring high standards across deliverables.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within Global Custody or Asset Servicing.
  • Strong knowledge of Tax Operations Management and Entitlements Processing.
  • Experience with BaNCS, IMActions, and Xceptor (highly desirable).
  • Proven track record on large, multi-year global transformation programmes.
  • Skilled in requirements gathering, process modelling, data analysis, and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery, with hands-on experience in story/EPIC writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
