Express Recruitment are looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst for a full-time, hybrid, permanent position in Milton Keynes. The role leads analysis from exploration through delivery and continuous improvement, shaping future-state options and detailed user stories.

The ideal candidate has proven business analysis experience within digital or service teams, with strong Agile, data analytics, and requirements management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Business Analysis role within multidisciplinary digital or service teams.
• Practical experience with agile delivery, iterative development, backlog refinement, and release management.
• Proven ability to elicit, analyse, validate, and manage functional, non-functional, data, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake proportionate business analysis across exploration, discovery, alpha, beta, live, and continuous improvement stages
• Map end-to-end services, user journeys, business capabilities, information flows, and as-is/to-be processes
• Investigate user, business, and service needs using workshops, interviews, observation, and data analysis
• Create and maintain process models, context diagrams, business rules, data definitions, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work continuously with agile delivery teams to support backlog creation, refinement, and work splitting

Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a leading institution who are looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst on a full time, hybrid, and permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a business analysis role and will lead analysis from early exploration through delivery and continuous improvement, examining current services and processes, define future-state options, map end-to-end user journeys, and create detailed requirements and user stories.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake proportionate business analysis across exploration, discovery, alpha, beta, live, and continuous improvement stages
• Map end-to-end services, user journeys, business capabilities, information flows, and as-is/to-be processes
• Investigate user, business, and service needs using workshops, interviews, observation, and data analysis
• Create and maintain process models, context diagrams, business rules, data definitions, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work continuously with agile delivery teams to support backlog creation, refinement, and work splitting

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a Business Analysis position within multidisciplinary digital or service teams
• Practical experience with agile delivery, iterative development, backlog refinement, and release management
• Proven ability to elicit, analyse, validate, and manage functional, non-functional, data, and operational requirements
• Experience modelling as-is and to-be processes using standard notations and tools
• Strong experience using data, analytics, and reporting tools to investigate operational performance and user behavior
