We’re looking for experienced Business Analysts (BA’s) able to rapidly understand complex business problems, with the analysis skills to understand people, processes and technical requirements, and shape technology solutions. What does success look like?
- You’ll have plenty of experience as a BA within high-performing Agile development teams.
- You build strong working relationships when working as part of a team to drive out solutions.
- A sound understanding of the Financial and Automotive industries will be hugely beneficial.
- Able to manage moving deadlines and changing priorities, and maintain a flexible mindset when managing conflicting priorities across the business.
- You have experience of delivering IT system requirements specifications and/or Agile story creation.
- An understanding of waterfall, iterative, digital and Agile development methodologies.
- Kanban framework experience and you have worked with database driven systems.
- You have supported complex change projects and produced feasibility studies.
- We use Design Thinking methodology, so it would be great if you had an awareness too.
- Experience of working with user centred design principles and user research techniques.
- Experience in the use of Atlassian Jira and Confluence toolkit.
- You have demonstrable experience of the legal and regulatory environment including governance, risk management, controls and compliance requirements.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex data and arguments.
- High level of motivation, flexibility, drive and personal commitment.
Here is an idea of what you will be doing:
- You’ll work closely with Product Owners to organise and refine feature backlogs.
- Work with the Technical Architects to understand and support detailed design and implementation.
- Working with Stakeholders at all levels to understand requirements, dependencies and priorities.
- You’ll disseminate information in design documents and backlog tickets, to drive out functional requirements specifications for delivery to the development team.
- Supporting the development team in story creation, refinement and story-pointing.
- Facilitating workshops to prioritise and schedule story delivery.
- You’ll suggest improvements for, and outline the benefits of improvements in production processes and provide process flow documentation.
- Regularly reporting progress with stakeholders, including raising risks, issues and other noteworthy project items in a timely manner.
- Take a “hands-on” approach to everything, designing and configuring systems and processes to customer requirements and iteratively improving them.
- You will also ensure strict control of client information and data.
