Job summary

Kensington Mortgages is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Business Change team, driving technology, process and organisational change within a regulated financial services environment. This hybrid role requires minimum office attendance in Marlow.

You will work closely with stakeholders, project managers and technical teams to understand needs, define requirements and ensure solutions are delivered and embedded across the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Experience in a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience using Azure DevOps and/or Jira to manage requirements and testing.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements aligned to strategic objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to capture requirements.
• Create user journeys, process maps, BRDs and impact assessments.
• Conduct gap analyses and current-state reviews for improvements.
• Bridge business and technical teams to ensure solutions meet needs.
• Support solution design, testing, and business readiness activities.
• Develop UAT scenarios, test scripts and traceability matrices.
• Identify risks and contribute to mitigation planning.
• Support business case development, change management and training.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned.

Are you an experienced Business Analyst who thrives on driving change, improving processes, and delivering successful business outcomes?

We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our Business Change team, playing a key role in delivering technology, process, operational and organisational change initiatives across a regulated financial services environment.

Working closely with business stakeholders, clients, project managers, and technical teams, you'll be responsible for understanding business needs, defining requirements, and ensuring solutions are successfully delivered and embedded.

What you'll be doing

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements aligned to strategic objectives.

• Create user journeys, process maps, business requirements documents and impact assessments.
• Conduct gap analyses and current-state reviews to identify improvement opportunities.

• Develop UAT scenarios, test scripts, traceability matrices and supporting documentation.
• Identify risks and contribute to mitigation planning.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Experience working in a regulated environment, ideally within financial services.
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, analysis and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments, with knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) and/or Jira to manage requirements, user stories and testing activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Mortgage lending experience.
• Knowledge of securitisation or broader lending operations.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers or client relationships.
• Understanding of IT systems, technology change, and software delivery lifecycles.
