Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our busy Digital, Technology and Data function. You will understand needs, analyse processes, define requirements and support change initiatives that improve how we work.

Working with stakeholders and delivery teams, you’ll turn ideas into practical solutions that create value for colleagues, members and customers, while embracing flexible hybrid working and development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in a project/change environment.
  • Strong process mapping and analysis to identify improvements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into business language.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions.
  • Understanding of how people, process and technology changes impact colleagues.
  • Willingness to contribute to the development of Business Analysis capability at Co-op.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business strategy, outcomes and challenges with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and collaborative sessions to build shared understanding.
  • Analyse and map end-to-end business processes to identify improvements.
  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements for change initiatives.
  • Create high-quality requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and target processes.
  • Support maintenance of business process and business architecture documentation.
  • Collaborate with project, change, architecture, technology and operations teams to delivery change.

We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our Business Analysis team and help us deliver change initiatives across Co-op.

You'll work with colleagues across a range of business areas to understand needs, analyse processes, define requirements and support change initiatives that improve how we work.

Working alongside Senior Business Analysts and delivery teams, you'll help turn ideas into practical solutions that create value for our colleagues, members and customers.

  • Ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives, target processes and desired outcomes
  • Support the development and maintenance of business process and business architecture documentation
