ROLE OVERVIEW:

Green Man Gaming is, at heart, a data driven company and the Business Development team sits at its very core. We're a team from a variety of backgrounds with a shared passion for data, insight and analytics; championing a continuous learning mindset.

As a Business Development Analyst, you will know how to use industry standard tools and techniques to deliver analysis and insights. You will be responsible for gathering and organising data from various sources, performing analysis, and presenting your findings to stakeholders within the rest of the business offering recommendations and directions.

The role provides ample opportunity to develop technical as well as soft skills - from tech stack solutions to teamwork, communication and stakeholder management.

Green Man Gaming works remotely, but we're a social bunch and organise quarterly in-person working sessions and social events. We'll of course also provide you with the tools and resources to set up an effective home office. Requirements

KEY DELIVERABLES:

  • Support the business development team and the EVP Commercial Acquisitions by building business cases for presenting at Greenlight showing justification for offering a term sheet
  • Support the Publishing Team by building forecasts for newly signed games
  • Proactively research for market trends and advise the Commercial Acquisition Team on recommended targets
  • Create, update and maintain modelling documents for evaluations and forecast
  • Create post-mortem reports for all games signed for Distribution Managed Service or Publishing to create a track record of success and to find trends for future activity
  • Derive business valuable insights from analysing various data sets and sources
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team on business development projects
  • Be responsible for ensuring data quality and accuracy in all analytics, forecasts and reports


YOU HAVE:

  • Market and Consumer understanding - You have an active interest in video games industry. You harness this insight to prepare and give business reviews to the senior management regarding progress and roadblocks
  • Games Industry knowledge - You have an in-depth (and hands on) understanding of our industry in particular publishing, business development, and the digital ecosystems
  • Commercial acumen: You are entrepreneurial and have a commercial mindset
  • Communication: You will need to be confident, a clear communicator & presenter, comfortable with internal stakeholder management & can provide regular updates and presentations to senior management
  • Organised: You are happy working independently and willing to roll your sleeves up if needed, you can prioritize effectively across a wide set of workstreams and deliver flexibly to tight deadlines where necessary
  • IT and Finance literacy: Demonstrable high end analytical and numerical skills i.e. Excel / Google Sheet
  • Previous professional experience in Business Analytics, Publishing and Business Development
