Job description

The Business Analyst (BA) will be an integral member of the project delivery team, working closely with stakeholders across the business to support the delivery of outcomes that drive business value. The BA will facilitate and translate business requirements into understandable deliverables, map out future state processes and operating models to ensure successful outcomes.

Understanding technology landscapes and vendors across ecosystems of varying complexity is essential for determining appropriate solutions that meet requirements.

Ability to adapt to projects of all sizes and types is crucial as you help our partners and internal stakeholders navigate new processes, ways of working, business case creation, ideation, and feasibility.

Job Description

  • End-to-End Business Analysis Experience
  • Scope and plan BA tasks and workshops
  • Elicit high-level and detailed business requirements
  • Translate and simplify requirements
  • Manage and communicate requirements
  • Analyze requirements
  • Organize and document requirements
  • Model As-is and To-be processes
  • Conduct gap analysis
  • Support project scoping
  • Align with external partners' ways of working, including tools like JIRA/DevOps
  • Produce and manage requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Own business analysis activities and deliverables
  • Manage changes to BA artifacts during projects
  • Ensure requirements inform test case design, processes, change requests, scope, acceptance, and deployment
  • Collaborate with testing teams to define scope and support test execution
  • Align project delivery with strategic architecture
  • Document and implement operational process changes
  • Ensure understanding of objectives and conduct impact analysis
  • Adapt to methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
  • Build rapport with stakeholders and business users
  • Manage own time to support project priorities
  • Develop resource and project plans with the project manager
  • Perform additional duties as expected in the role
  • Support good conduct to deliver optimal customer and policyholder outcomes
