Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience delivering a range of projects as a Business Analyst.
  • Knowledge of documentation standards for Business and Process Analysis.
  • Experience in financial services, particularly pensions administration and investments accounting is an advantage.

Business Analyst

We have an incredible opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Change & Transformation team on a permanent basis, based in either the Darlington or London office (hybrid based).

The role

Within this role, you will be a valued member of the Change & Transformation team as a Business Analyst providing detailed, accurate and timely analysis across a broad range of projects within the C&T portfolio and in accordance with the Change and Project Management Framework.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The person

To be successful in this role you will you have demonstrable experience of delivering a broad range of projects against the BA objectives and project timelines. You will have a good understanding and experience of documenting complex processes including the ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ models. As a Business Analyst, knowledge of industry standards for Business and Process Analysis including documentation, project lifecycle, implementation and governance is key.Experience of delivering change within financial services is a must and pensions administration and investments accounting would be a distinct advantage.

We are looking for someone who has an ability to build collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business to ensure successful delivery of a range of projects. You will be able to act as a conduit between developers and end business users and can undertake excellent written communications to end business users.Organisational skills and a proven ability to adapt and re-plan due to competing or changing priorities is key. As a Business Analyst, you will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.
