Purpose of the Job
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in providing business analysis for bespoke and packaged systems. By working closely with business users and delivery teams, you will facilitate the business change process and ensure effective delivery of solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis for new projects and system changes.
- Gather project requirements by collaborating with stakeholders.
- Analyze data and trends to support decision-making.
- Evaluate and improve business processes.
- Manage communication between business teams, IT, and vendors.
- Design and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Document business cases, process maps, user stories, workflows, and test plans.
- Assist in system testing and quality assurance.
- Support projects from start to post-implementation reviews.
- Prioritize business requests and provide analysis.
- Facilitate business change processes and identify improvements.
- Compliance with information security & data protection policies.
Skills And Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Analytical, data manipulation/reporting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritise work at a detailed level across complex business processes from concept design through to conclusion.
- Capable of identifying and communicating the effectiveness of existing processes, proposing improvements, and achieving buy-in from stakeholders.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Visio for process mapping or Microsoft Office Suite for reporting.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with a high level of autonomy and willingly accepts responsibility.
- Proactive in developing self, systems, and processes.
