Job description

ROLE PURPOSE

The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Business Insights & Analytics Manager in developing and implementing the analytics strategy of the business. They will manage and create dashboards and reports to optimize business functions and enhance data-driven decision making. Additionally, they will help democratize data and improve its accuracy and completeness.

Salary range: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)

• Communicate insights appropriately based on the target audience (technical or non-technical)
• Create and maintain standardized reports and dashboards
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to sales and leadership teams
• Maintain and improve existing PowerBI dashboards based on user feedback
• Perform ad-hoc reporting using Excel and PowerBI
• Collaborate with the BI Manager to build and maintain a data warehouse for all 1P and 3P data
• Liaise with 3P providers to ensure timely receipt and processing of sales data
• Ensure data quality and integrity meet business and regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with UK GDPR in data processing
• Assist in writing SOPs for existing digital processes and new implementations
• Work closely with end users to ensure new tools meet their needs
• Provide training for platforms and tools as needed
• Address user queries and issues
• Contribute to training materials and FAQs
• Collaborate with business owners and leadership to produce reports and presentations

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

• Coordinate with internal and external partners for data collection and analysis
• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical, Finance, and Sales teams

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

• Experience in analytics is desirable but not required
• Curiosity and willingness to learn
• Data-driven mindset with logical and analytical thinking
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI)
• Strong skills in Excel and Office Suite
• Basic knowledge of statistics or mathematics is desirable
• Knowledge of Salesforce OCE and HubSpot is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus but not required
