Job summary

Addition in London is seeking a Business Analyst to help shape prime brokerage offerings and drive operational excellence. You will collaborate across sales, trading, operations and risk to translate business needs into actionable delivery, including API specs and process maps.

The role is hybrid in London with a contract, paying £600 per day Inside IR35. You will develop user stories, guide development teams, and support workshops for alignment and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst within Prime Brokerage, CFDs, or Synthetic prime products.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and proactive attitude.
• Comfort in fast-paced, less-structured environments.
• Knowledge of prime brokerage tech platforms and onboarding systems.

Their London-based team is seeking a talented Business Analyst to help shape their prime brokerage offerings and drive operational excellence.

Role Overview

• Location: Hybrid – London

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, trading, operations, and risk to capture and interpret business needs for platform enhancements and prime brokerage services.
• Transform complex client requirements and regulatory mandates into detailed process maps, system specifications, and technical documents.
• Develop engaging user stories, functional requirement documents, and API specifications to guide development teams.
• Facilitate workshops and review sessions to ensure alignment across stakeholders and support system delivery.
• Analyse existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to streamline operations and maintain compliance.

Main Skills Needed

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Prime Brokerage, CFDs, or Synthetic prime products.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
• Ability to operate comfortably in a fast-paced, less structured environment.
• Solid understanding of prime brokerage technology platforms, including trading infrastructure, reporting tools, and onboarding systems.
• Experience working within or alongside major competitors in the financial services sector is highly desirable.
