Job description

Role Title: Business Analyst

Location: Glasgow

Duration: 31/12/2025

Rate: £350 per day - PAYE via Umbrella only

Key Accountabilities

• End-to-end requirements management and traceability, both functional and non-functional
• Analysis of Payment data for data model and detailed analysis
• Requirements elicitation and documentation, using User Stories and E2E Diagrams
• Identification & verification of source data origination, assessing overlapping & distinct data elements
• Identify, quantify, plan, and control all business design and analysis activities on change projects
• Become knowledgeable in data sources and expected outputs in specific data domains, e.g., payments
• Support programme & project leads in achieving initiative goals
• Performance management of data analysts and leadership on department strategy
• Coordinate workloads across multiple data streams
• Identify and align commercials related to change in the bank
• Own and manage requirement aspects of the change delivery lifecycle from inception to post-implementation support
• Align with overall strategy across Technology delivery and Business operations change
• Manage stakeholder relationships and dependencies
• Manage multiple project work streams
• Conduct impact analysis in collaboration with architects and solution designers
• Coordinate and assist with testing phases, including UAT and live proving
• Act as liaison among project stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate features
• Serve as SME for business and functional domain knowledge, working closely with the Product Owner
• Create, groom, and maintain project feature and story backlogs
• Participate in joint design sessions to groom and document features and stories
• Ensure high-quality requirement delivery across multi-discipline platform teams
• Support technical solutions in collaboration with Enterprise, Data, and Solutions Architects
• Provide expertise across business and technical solutions
• Manage dependencies and raise awareness of external dependencies
• Deliver desired outcomes and adapt to changing requirements
• Adhere to governance standards, ensuring proper data recording and reporting
