Job summary

Stafffinders in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive large-scale transformation projects. You will gather requirements across business and technical teams, define functional/non-functional specs, and map as-is and to-be processes to enable informed decisions.

Work with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs, including user stories and process maps, while maintaining traceability and supporting UAT.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering high-quality Business Analysis in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and presenting recommendations.
  • Experience producing clear, structured outputs: process maps, mock-ups and service design artefacts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for digital and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication to translate complex issues into actionable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering across business and technical teams.
  • Define and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Map current and future-state processes, user journeys and services.
  • Support business cases, options analysis and transformation decisions.
  • Maintain traceability from need to delivery and testing.
  • Produce outputs including user stories, acceptance criteria and use cases.
  • Support UAT and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Promote BA standards, techniques and methodologies.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We're looking for someone with proven experience delivering high-quality Business Analysis within complex, fast-paced environments. You will bring:

  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and presenting clear recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of BA techniques, including requirements elicitation, process analysis, user stories and use cases.
  • Experience in producing clear, structured analysis outputs, including process maps, mock-ups and service design artefacts.
  • Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for digital and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication skill and the ability to translate complex business and technical issues into clear, actionable outcomes.
