Salary: £49,117 potential to rise to £57,784 over 3 years

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first. You will be part of a growing team in our Strategy & Architecture function.

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for business analysis and requirements engineering activities across business change activities:

Every day you will …

  • Work closely with the business to identify areas that require change, helping them articulate the rationale and benefits of proposed changes, particularly in ways of working.
  • Facilitate business leads to articulate the benefits of changes to colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring that the rationale for change is clear and aligned with business objectives and delivers tangible outcomes.
  • Review and analyse current supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancement.
  • Conduct data analysis to provide actionable insights and inform decision-making processes.
  • Create and update business requirements documents, process maps, and other relevant documentation to support business change initiatives.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between stakeholders, keeping all parties informed and engaged throughout the change process.
  • Address any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation of business change initiatives.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

  • Extensive experience in the role of a Business Analyst working on transformation projects and programmes in a complex business environment.
  • Working with stakeholders on all levels.
  • Leading key business activities including the definition of business problems, objectives, and scope.
  • Competent in the use of industry-strength best practice in business analysis tools and techniques including BPMN, UML, Entity Relationship Modelling, Business Rules Modelling, Requirements Management Matrix, Product Backlog for all deliverables.
  • Experience in being a change agent and continuous improvement of approaches for Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering.
