Hiring: Business Analyst - 4 Day Week Working Practice

Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week in our Tonbridge Office

Hours: Permanent, Full-time (32 hours per week)

Reporting to: Head of Projects and Operational Resilience

To help drive this transformation, they are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team and play a key role in reshaping how they deliver value to customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be at the heart of change initiatives, helping to refine business processes and systems — with an initial focus on lending operations. You'll work closely with stakeholders across departments, acting as a bridge between technical and business teams to ensure projects align with strategy and deliver real results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, and propose fit-for-purpose solutions
• Lead on process mapping, from current (AS-IS) to future (TO-BE) workflows
• Drive improvements in secured and unsecured lending journeys
• Champion best practice in change management, risk, and governance
• Collaborate with IT, lending, credit, savings, and external partners
• Produce key documentation including RACI charts, user stories, comms plans, and MI reports
• Identify opportunities to innovate, digitise manual processes, and improve customer and staff experience
• Support post-implementation review and continuous improvement

Essential Experience:

• Strong background in business analysis and change delivery
• Deep understanding of secured lending products and SME lending (from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutions)
• Experience with stakeholder management, process redesign, and system implementation
• Familiarity with financial services regulations and product governance
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable insights
