Job description

Evolve-IT is working with an award winning financial services company based in Edinburgh. They are a close knit team who are looking to expand their operations and are therefore looking to add to their team with a Business Analyst to assist in their change team.

To be successful in this role, our client is looking for someone to play a key role in their change team by supporting the delivery of projects whilst aligning with their business plan and core values. The day to day responsibilities of this role include gathering, analysing and translating business needs into requirements for other teams to collaborate on, working closely with stakeholders and supporting the decision making process. All of the above are to contribute to the execution of change initiatives and to enhance the overall client experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Document business requirements to support solutions design, development and testing
  2. Provide support to business stakeholders and users to support the project delivery and change lifecycles
  3. Aiding in project and change governance - contributing to planning, reporting and compliance
  4. Supporting project managers in project and change delivery
  5. Run workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather insights and findings
  6. Evaluate business processes to identify requirements and improvements
  7. Mitigate risk and ensure compliance to required processes and procedures

Essentials:

  1. Ability to work across multiple projects of different sizes
  2. Understanding of project management methodologies
  3. An eye for detail when it comes to problem solving and analysis skills
  4. A passion for delivering an excellent service to clients and internal stakeholders
  5. Team player
  6. Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business
  7. Proactive mindset and ability to perform under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines
  8. Financial services experience is desired but not essential
