Key Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you’ll:

  • Work with business and IT stakeholders to define the scope and requirements for change initiatives.
  • Use workshops and other techniques to map current and future business processes (using BPMN).
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and requirements.
  • Support Agile delivery teams by acting as a proxy Product Owner when needed.
  • Help define solution options that align with our tech strategy and business goals.
  • Make sure non-functional requirements are captured and considered.
  • Support business readiness and adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Promote a customer-first mindset and drive innovation within the Business Analysis team.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s curious, collaborative, and confident working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need:

  • Proven experience in business and process analysis on complex projects (up to £3m+).
  • Strong knowledge of BPMN, Agile (Scrum), and tools like MS Visio, Azure DevOps, UML, and Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A structured, strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Ideally, a degree-level qualification and/or BCS Advanced Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Experience in regulated financial services or insurance is a bonus – but not essential.
