About
ParkIT is a part of BookFlowGo which brings together three specialist businesses within the Holiday Extras Group:
- Book / Parkspace – powering the world’s leading pre-book and omni-channel platforms for travel and parking.
- Flow / ParkIT – providing operational software and consultancy to optimise logistics, capacity, and customer experience.
- Go / FGS – manufacturing bespoke self-service hardware to reduce costs and improve throughput.
Within BookFlowGo, ParkIT focuses on the Flow element - delivering a SaaS platform and connected hardware for airport and valet parking operators. Our technology powers the entire customer and vehicle journey, from ANPR entry to vehicle condition capture, key lockers, and self-service kiosks.
We’re growing fast, and this role is part of that growth. Working under the guidance of the Product Lead, you’ll join the Product function to bring structure, discovery discipline, and clear documentation that enables the engineering and QA teams to move with confidence.
We’re looking for a Business Analyst who can use structured product discovery techniques to clarify problems, uncover the ‘why’ behind requests, and translate insight into actionable, testable stories for engineering, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.
The Role
By joining the team you’ll:
- Investigate and document current behaviour across our products (web, mobile, kiosks, lockers, ANPR integrations).
- Produce clear artefacts, process maps, data flows, user journeys and state models, and maintain documentation in Confluence and Jira.
- Plan and run discovery sessions and workflow analysis with internal teams and clients.
- Use structured frameworks such as Business Process Modelling, Customer Journey Mapping, and Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) to uncover the “why” behind requests.
- Identify user pain points and validate them with data and operational insight.
- Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria that engineers and QA can easily interpret.
- Define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), edge cases, and dependencies early to reduce delivery risk.
- Identify edge cases, dependencies, and potential risks early.
- Support the Product and Engineering Leads in refining and sequencing delivery work.
- Support Product Delivery by providing detail and structure to roadmap items and feature definitions.
- Support QA by ensuring requirements are traceable to test cases.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure acceptance criteria are met before release.
- Contribute to post-deployment reviews to confirm business outcomes are achieved.
What you can bring to our team:
- Experience in a Business Analyst or Product Analyst role within a software (ideally SaaS) environment.
- Strong experience creating process workflows, journey maps, and JTBD-based problem statements.
- Curious mindset - comfortable challenging assumptions and exploring the real “why”.
- Proven ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria that engineers and QA can easily interpret.
- Skilled in defining and validating NFRs and recognising edge cases.
- Confident in managing multiple stakeholders and balancing competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence for occasional site visits (e.g. airport car parks across the UK).
Desirable
- Experience in hardware-integrated SaaS (e.g., ANPR, kiosks, IoT).
- Understanding of airport operations, parking, or transport/logistics workflows.
- Basic familiarity with data querying or analytics (SQL, dashboards, etc.).
- Awareness of accessibility, data protection, and operational safety considerations.
Everyone’s career path is individual and different, so this is just a guide. If your experience doesn\'t precisely match this, you’re encouraged to apply so that we can discover your unique talents!
