Business Analyst (Technology Integration)

Contract Length: 4 Months Contract

Day Rate: £370 per day

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid, 1-2 days per week onsite)

Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to support a major business integration programme following a recent acquisition. The programme is currently in its discovery phase and is expected to run for approximately 12 months, with the initial 4-month engagement focused on Technology and IT workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Conduct business process analysis and process mapping activities.
  • Support technology integration workstreams within a wider transformation programme.
  • Analyse datasets and produce reporting using Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Document current and future-state processes.
  • Coordinate with business and IT teams to ensure successful delivery of technology change initiatives.
  • Support application discovery, assessment, testing, and migration activities.
  • Assist with end-user computing and device deployment projects.
  • Contribute to organisational change initiatives and user adoption activities.
Required Skills & Experience

  • Windows 11 rollout experience.
  • Knowledge of device deployment and decommissioning activities.
  • Experience with application discovery, assessment, and testing.
  • Exposure to Azure migration projects.
  • Experience supporting SaaS application migrations and onboarding.
  • Understanding of user access management, identity, and network-related processes.
  • Ability to produce clear business and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting large-scale organisational change and integration programmes.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working on acquisition, merger, or integration programmes.
  • Exposure to enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working across multiple concurrent workstreams
