Rate: £400–£500 a day (Umbrella)
A North London Local Authority is recruiting for an experienced Business Analysis Project Manager to support the delivery of its Income & Debt Improvement Programme.
This is a high-profile role working across multiple services including Adult Social Care, Housing Benefit Overpayments, Council Tax, Sundry Debt, and expanding into Business Rates, Parking, and Legal Recovery.
The successful candidate will combine strong project management and business analysis skills to help drive forward service improvements, coordinate delivery, and ensure the realisation of measurable benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery & Coordination
- Lead the mobilisation and delivery of assigned workstreams within the programme
- Maintain delivery plans, RAID logs, action trackers, and performance dashboards
- Coordinate KPI data collection and submission from each debt area
- Support the fortnightly Income & Debt Board meetings and follow up on actions
- Identify risks, delivery slippage or resourcing issues and escalate as necessary
Business Analysis
- Analyse financial and operational data to highlight issues and prioritise actions
- Work with service leads to document existing processes, identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements
- Contribute to the development of business cases and cost-benefit justifications
Reporting & Communication
- Produce weekly highlight reports, dashboards, and scorecards
- Present data in a clear, narrative format for senior stakeholders and governance boards
- Build strong working relationships with Finance, Debt Recovery, BI, and frontline service teams
