As an assistant manager/senior associate, you will undertake a wide variety of dynamic Corporate Finance/Advisory projects and play an integral role in planning, monitoring, and completing assignments within a team environment, providing appropriate support to ensure timely and effective completion of projects.

Your new role

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Assist in overseeing a portfolio of Business Advisory and Corporate Finance projects
  2. Provide support to colleagues on technical issues and be responsible for delivering work of the highest quality
  3. Prepare financial projections for businesses
  4. Assist in the preparation of business plans and due diligence reports
  5. Identify and investigate key issues in potential target businesses for acquisition purposes
  6. Prepare Independent Business Reviews
  7. Undertake accurate and relevant analysis and interrogate financial models
  8. Engage and assist in financial analysis and report writing
  9. Advise businesses on reducing costs and managing working capital
  10. Manage a portfolio of clients' financials, including budgeting, monitoring project costs, and implementing corrective measures
  11. Plan, monitor, and complete all work within the team, and deputise for managers when needed
  12. Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced colleagues
  13. Ensure all correspondence and reports meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
  14. Establish and develop contacts to expand professional network
  15. Maintain relationships with clients and work providers at various management levels
  16. Act as a liaison between clients and internal service groups
  17. Participate in office marketing events and stay informed about the firm's services
  18. Perform other duties as reasonably assigned by partners

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Chartered or Certified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in Business Advisory/Corporate Finance
  • Financial Modelling skills, including experience in financial projections
  • Ability to deliver exceptional client service under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify key issues
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and adaptability
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
  • Attention to detail and review skills
  • Commercial awareness and value addition ability
