A leading financial services provider in London is seeking a Business Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with UK and international regulations. This role involves advising on policies, mitigating risks, and providing training. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Global Markets business and possess strong communication skills. The position entails a hybrid working model with four days required in the office.
The Commodities and Global Markets Business Compliance team in London plays a vital role in supporting Macquarie's markets businesses by ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining robust risk controls. Our team works closely with colleagues across the trading floor to advise on policies, processes and procedures, helping to safeguard the organisation's reputation and integrity.
We collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and proactively identify and address potential risks. By providing guidance and training, we enable our businesses to operate confidently within the regulatory environment.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 4 days a week in our advertised location.
As a Business Compliance Officer, you support the Commodities and Global Markets businesses by ensuring all activities comply with applicable UK and international regulations. You advise on and help develop policies, processes and procedures, and work to identify, assess and mitigate risks across the business. You ensure robust controls are in place, provide training to teams, and support new initiatives as they arise. You collaborate closely with colleagues, contribute to ad hoc projects within the broader regional and global compliance teams, and help to foster a culture of integrity and accountability.
