Business Advisor - Construction and Green Technologies

Salary: Up to £42,000

We are working with a very exciting social enterprise that is seeking a Construction and Green Technologies Specialist to join their expanding team. The role involves supporting business owners in the sector by providing expert advice on organisational development and promoting good employment practices. The ideal candidate should possess strong sector knowledge, including insights into business challenges, skills needs, and growth opportunities.

The role is part of a wider business support team that has been assisting companies since 2011, ranging from start-ups to established firms, by offering tailored guidance, fostering innovation, and connecting businesses with funding and expertise across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with business owners/leaders and key contacts.
  • Promote the work of the Workforce Development team.
  • Identify and support businesses in addressing workforce development challenges.
  • Collaborate with training providers to offer suitable training solutions.
  • Handle client inquiries and assess growth potential, workforce, and business needs.
About You:
  • Expertise in facilitating, coaching, and organisational change management.
  • Deep understanding of the workforce development arena.
  • Experience in the Construction and Green Economy sectors.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and networking skills.
  • Strong planning, organisational, administrative, and project management skills.
