We want to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to fulfill their ambitions, no matter who or where they are.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

As a Business Advisor, you will provide a high-quality 1-2-1 business advisory service to SMEs to help them maximize their potential, and in turn, help to build the South of Scotland's business base and improve economic impact.

We need you to be proactive and visible, working to identify which businesses have untapped potential and which could have a more positive economic impact in the South of Scotland. Your relationship management, influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills should be exceptional. You’ll need to be flexible in your approach to evolving operational requirements and embrace the dynamic nature of our organization.

What We’ll Offer You

We offer a competitive and varied reward package, designed to cover your wellbeing, lifestyle, working life, and future, including 43 days of holiday annually and a generous pension contribution. Our salary ranges are competitive, and new entrants will normally start at the minimum of the pay range, except in exceptional circumstances. We aim to help you balance your work and personal life.

We celebrate and support differences. If you need adjustments to support your application, such as information in alternative formats or access to our buildings, or if you’re eligible under The Disability Confident Scheme, please contact us, and we will do all we can to support you.

We operate a hybrid working model, balancing working from home with office attendance to meet the needs of our employees, teams, and clients.

This role is full-time and permanent, and we will consider alternative working patterns.
