Business Administrator Team Manager #RQ1528172

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

This role is predominantly Macclesfield based with occasional travel to Crewe.

JOB PURPOSE

To co-ordinate and undertake admin support to the Children’s Partnership Boards, cross-service working, and the Children’s Development and Partnerships Team. To provide support around key developments in children’s services and activities that improve service delivery or partnership working.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Co-ordinate the agenda, papers, reports, venues, minutes, attendance, and follow-up actions for multi-agency and Senior Management Boards and sub-groups to ensure efficient and timely dispatch of business.
  2. Manage and organise meetings, papers, research, filing, and general admin for the Children’s Partnership Boards, Service, and Team, including financial processing tasks, to optimize time and handle complex agendas.
  3. Liaise directly with Partnership Board members and other senior managers of Cheshire East Council and partner agencies.
  4. Organise events such as Board Meetings, sub-groups, conferences, development days, and multi-agency workshops for the Service, Team, and Children’s Partnership Boards.
  5. Manage administrative systems within the team and support cross-service work, including handling incoming calls, email enquiries, correspondence, and filing.
  6. Contribute to the improvement of children’s services by supporting service developments, partnership working, and maintaining high standards.

In accordance with the Council’s Flexibility Policy, the job holder will undertake work as determined by the Director/Corporate Manager, up to or at a level consistent with the Principal Responsibilities, in any location within Cheshire East Borough.

You must have:
  • Enhanced DBS/Update service.
  • References covering the last 5 years of employment.
