The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and be well-organized. As a Business Administrator, you will be part of the care team and, as such, will have some contact with residents, family members and other visitors therefore, maintaining a friendly and professional manner whilst interacting with them is a must.

The home also offers respite stays on a long term and short term basis to give home carers a much-needed break. Wheelchair access is available throughout. A restaurant standard kitchen provides freshly prepared meals tailored to the residents†preferences and needs. Care manager Jill Veitch is an experienced manager and is qualified as a general nurse. The home offers excellent training and support to the care team to allow them to take care of the varied needs of residents, from specialist support to general assistance with everyday activities, while also respecting the residents†need to live independent and dignified lives. The home also offers training, information and support to the relatives of residents to help them better understand the treatment and care requirements of their loved-one. The home benefits from having built good relationships with the local council, GPs, physiotherapists, district nurses, social workers and other visiting healthcare professionals. The Activities Coordinators at Glennie House provide a full programme of activities, entertainment and events for residents to choose from.
