The opportunity

This role is to support the Business Administration Manager, Hospital administration and Business Services teams to continuously improve processes in order to reduce common queries, data errors or omissions.

  • To support Data Quality Management within the hospital administration teams to ensure that the hospital provides clean, complete and accurate information to facilitate invoicing and credit control with minimal complications, queries, data errors or omissions
  • To support the triage and resolution of queries raised by patients or consultants in the hospital relating to invoicing or consultant fees. Using case management software, log queries and communicate with the Business Services team to resolve queries
  • Maintain excellent customer service to Consultants and Patients during query resolution
  • Responsible for the management of cash and cash equivalent handling and banking in accordance with Nuffield Health policies
  • Pre-authorisation of insured patients

The person

  • To succeed as a Business Administrator, you will need:
  • Track record of first class communications skills both written and verbal with a high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to deal with individuals at all levels of seniority both within Nuffield Health and externally, to facilitate the achievement of objectives.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment, develop and extend relationships.
  • Approachable, adaptable and flexible attitude in a constantly changing environment.
  • Maintain and enforce high standards for the department.
