Job description

The City Protection Service is seeking a comprehensive business administration professional to report to the Senior Business Administrator. The role involves assisting the City Protection Units in developing and rolling out new projects and initiatives through research, information gathering, and analysis. Additionally, the position entails end-to-end administration of projects, partnership working, and providing customer support to the public.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to provide an effective business administration function for the Environmental department.
  • Maintain records and databases using manual or computerized systems.
  • Issue licenses, forms, and promotional materials as necessary.
  • Deal with complaints, enquiries, and requests for service in line with policies and procedures.
  • Assist with end-to-end administration, including arranging meetings, minute taking, and drafting correspondence.
  • Provide operational support for systems development and implementation.
  • Undertake basic research and provide information and analysis to support the development of the City Protection Service.
  • Respond to public enquiries and complaints, providing practical and semi-technical advice and customer support.
  • Assist with staff development by providing training and mentoring to staff.
Skills and Qualifications
