Business Administration Manager (MBChB)

We are seeking an experiencedBusiness Administration Manager (MBChB)to join the University of Greater Manchester School of Medicine at a pivotal time, as we prepare to welcome our first cohort of medical students in September 2025. This role is central to the successful delivery of our MBChB programme, which reflects our values of inclusion, compassion, and academic excellence.

About the Role

As Business Administration Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operational delivery of the MBChB programme. This includes managing programme administration across quality assurance, curriculum planning, student support, placements, and regulatory compliance.

You will deputise for the Head of Professional Services and take ownership of the operational detail that underpins our MBChB programme. The role also involves supporting academic leads, coordinating programme governance, overseeing professional services activity, and managing administrative staff to ensure a smooth, efficient, and high-quality experience for both students and staff.

This is a hands-on management role, requiring strong organisational skills, excellent judgement, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across academic, NHS, and professional services settings.
