As part of your apprenticeship, at least 6 hours per weekwill be dedicated to off-the-job training. This training may include: - Attending college or online learning sessions related to business administration and clinical coding. - Shadowing experienced staff to develop practical knowledge. - Learning how to use EMIS Web and other NHS systems. - Completing coursework and assessments set by the apprenticeship provider. - Attending workshops on NHS policies, data protection, and patient confidentiality. - Researching best practices for document management and healthcare administration.
This structured learning will support your development and help you gain a recognised qualification while working in a real-world healthcare environment.
